Wine Fest weekend is upon us and for me this weekend always signifies the start of the summer season. What better way to celebrate than with some stellar Blanc de Blanc. It’s rare to find a Blanc de Blanc under $60 but I managed to, and it’s terrific. Subtle and delicate flavors - brioche, lemon curd, crips green apple, this would be a perfect partner to steamed lobsters, linguini and clams and/or a cocktail hour with friends. Organic!

@HogIslandBrewing - You can check them out on the Cape at their Orleans or Wellfleet locations. In Orleans you’ll often find live music happening, and fresh Wellfleet oysters coming out of their Raw Bar.

In our shop you can typically find a rotating selection from them in our Craft Beer fridge under the “Local’s” section. Currently you can snag White Shark Wheat.

At 26 weeks Pregnant, I’ve had to diversify my Summer drink picks this year. One of my current fav’s is Lyre’s Non-Alcoholic Spritz’s. These Zero-Proof sparkling drinks are made in Austria with local ingredients. You can drink as is, but I prefer it poured over ice, in a wine glass with a splash of lemonade and a fresh orange peel.
